Wallaroo Wines

Wallaroo Wines is one of the largest vineyards in the Hills of Hall wineries area. The Hills of Hall is a picturesque area with most of the wineries having stunning views over the Brindabellas.

Our family-owned vineyard was planted in 1996 to Riesling, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. Apart from our own wine, we also supply iconic brands such as Clonakilla, Nick O'Leary wines and Gundog Estate with premium grapes.

Wallaroo Wines is named after the historic Parish name of Wallaroo and also for the black-coloured Wallabies called Wallaroos which are found in the district.

Our warm days and cool nights provide the perfect ripening environment for premium grapes.

Review by UK wine writer Jancis Robinson of our Shiraz

" Lively, developed and very transparent nose that suggests quite a cool climate. Sweet start but then a lovely dry finish. Really rather like a delicate Côte Rôtie. Very pretty. Lovely balance."
